Celebration Sunday

  • April 10th at 9:30am (regular service time)
  • Join us in celebrating baptisms, baby dedications, the impact of Upward in our community and welcoming new members.
  • If your kids are in Upward, we are inviting them to wear their jerseys to service.

Annual Community Easter Egg Hunt

  • Coleman's Christmas Tree Farm is hosting our egg hunt on Sunday, April 10th.
  • Location: 550 Silver Run Rd Middletown, DE
  • Free event, food for purchase from the Townsend Fire Company.
  • 12pm // Check-in, Lunch, Bounce House, Train Ride & Playgrounds
  • 1pm // Age Divided Egg Hunts Begin: Age groups are 0-3, 4-5, 6-8 and 9-12. Please bring your own basket or bucket for eggs!

Good Friday Service

  • April 16th at 6:30pm, in-person only.

Easter Suday

  • Sunday, April 17th
  • Services are 6am sunrise service & 9:30am. Children's church and nursery are available during the 9:30am service.
  • No Youth Night   

Easter Break-Offices closed

  • April 18th-22nd church office will be closed.
  • No Wednesday night Bible study. 
  • Breathing Under Water, Moving Meditation and Stay & Play will still meet during Easter Break.

Youth Night

  • Sundays at 6:30pm
  • No youth night on April 10th and 17th.

Wednesday Night Bible Study

  • No Wednesday night bible study during spring break, April 20th.
  • Bible study begins again on Wednesday, April 27th with the book of Daniel.
  • Nursery, pre-K & classes for k-12 and young adults are available.

    You are the doctor today!  Listen to a doctor-themed story, dance and sing some songs, and enjoy a movement activity.  Afterwards, make an X-Ray craft, decorate your own doctor coat and name badge, pretend to be a doctor in our pretend play center, and enjoy a themed snack.  Spend the rest of the time playing with an assortment of toys.  Geared towards 1-4 years of age, but all are welcome.  Please register here: https://forms.gle/zeSuUaTrxCiztsHr5

Door of Hope Pregnancy Center, Sunday, April 24th

  • On Sunday, April 24th, The Door of Hope Pregnancy Center will be with us to share about their work in the local community.
  • The Baby Bottle Benefit will begin that Sunday. This is now a virtual giving event, no baby bottles will be passed out.
