WEDNESDAY - DINNER & BIBLE STUDY

Wednesday Night Dinner is back, beginning February 3 at 5:15pm for a suggested donation of $5. Menus are subject to change based on the availability of food, sales, and food donations. Food is prepared by a volunteer team, donations are to offset the cost of food.

  • Menu 2/17 Creamed chicken, biscuits, buttered peas, apple sauce, salad, and assorted desserts.
  • Menu 2/24 Hot dogs, roasted potatoes, baked beans, deviled eggs, and assorted desserts.

 

Wednesday Night Bible Study is in-person and live on Youtube live with Pastor Alan. Watch here: Townsend Church YouTube Channel, on our website www.tfwb.org/live or in the Townsend Church App. Nursery available and activities for all ages in person.

Student Bible study (6th-college) is 6:30pm, in-person at church. Middle School is reading through Genesis.

 

CARE AND COUNSEL

Addiction recovery and support group (Breathing Under Water) is led by husband and wife team, Bryce and Maria Bunce. The group meets Mondays @ 6:30pm. Learn how The 12 Steps of the Big Book of Alcoholics Anonymous connects with the gospel in overcoming addictions. The group will use the book Breathing Under Water by Richard Rohr.

Griefshare begins again on Wednesday, February 3 @ 6:30pm. Free and open to the community. More details here: https://www.griefshare.org/groups/130095

 

CHILDREN & YOUTH EVENTS

Postponed 2/13 due to weather. Middle School Girls meet on Sunday, Feb.14th after the service, 11am-1pm. Lunch, devotional and craft will be led by Kim Hines, Stephanie B and Cher're. This group typically meets on the second Sunday of each month.

Pastor Tim will have Youth Announcements coming out next week. These announcements include opportunities for retreats, service opportunities, and camps this summer.
